The next time you meet a highly successful person, ask them to tell you their story. I’m willing to bet you won’t hear about an effortless, struggle-free and uplifting path to success and wealth.
In all reality, you will hear about the hardships, stresses and setbacks that this person encountered on their road to success.
The truth is this: If you want success (and wealth, if that’s what your vision of success entails), you will have to work hard. Success won’t just land in your lap. It takes constant action, even when you feel like giving up.

Today, I want to talk about the final 4 clues to help you achieve your goals and reach the level of success you’ve only dreamed of. Some may seem obvious – and others, ridiculous – but each is essential to a life of success.
Here we go…
Clue #4: Never EVER give up
You’ve probably heard that Taylor Swift song that goes, “we are never ever, ever getting back together.” (It’s a little annoying, I know.)
But one thing she has right in that song is the “never ever, ever” part… because successful people never ever, EVER give up on achieving their goals. Ever. It’s not even an option. EVER.
If you want to be successful, you can never let go of your beliefs or actions. And you should never give up on where you’re going. You need to follow that path until the very end.
Clue #5: Dare to be different
Most successful people didn’t get to where they are today by following the pack. In fact, success can often be counter-intuitive.
Achieving success has nothing to do with taking on more difficult challenges than everyone else; instead, successful people tend to do things differently than everyone else.
At times, this means that common sense has to go out the window – which can be super frickin’ scary for many of us!
But, if you’re not willing to be different, you probably won’t achieve the level of success you’re striving for.
Clue #6: Love to fail
I know you’re like, “Uh, JP, have you gone off the deep end? Why would I love to fail?”
Well, allow me to clarify: successful people don’t take failure personally.
They don’t see it as a reflection of their intelligence, motivation or worth as a person. In fact, they often embrace failure wholeheartedly.
They anticipate the chance of failing, because each failure makes them smarter, stronger and more driven to succeed.

Clue #7: Take action now
There’s actually nothing brilliant about this clue. It’s pretty straightforward.
If you sit around twiddling your thumbs, don’t expect amazing things to happen to you.
You need to take action now – not tomorrow… not next week… not next month. NOW.
Successful people know that taking action first – before anyone else – gives them an advantage.
They also take action last, so that no one else has the “final say.” Simply put… they take action always.
Success is now
If I asked you, “Would you like to be successful now, or would you prefer to be successful in 10 years?” what would your response be?
If you said, “10 years from now,” I would be concerned for your sanity. (Just messing with you – but seriously, who wouldn’t want to be successful right now, if they had the chance?!)
Life is too short to wait to succeed. Don’t wait. Take action now.
