Have you attended any funerals lately? I don’t mean to come off sounding morbid, but sometimes it takes something as serious as a funeral to jerk out the slack and make us wake up and think.
This is Brian Meara here, a new Mogul advisor, and I created this video lesson while I was actually driving in a funeral procession to the cemetery. The father of one of my close friends passed away suddenly and it got me to thinking about my own life.

See, I started out in 2007 as a real estate agent in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. I had to do something to support my three young boys - triplets. Two years later, I broke out of that Realtor hustle and became an investor – best decision ever.
I’ve closed thousands of deals all across the nation and have chosen to run my business virtually. I don’t even see the properties that I invest in. Three months out of the year, I live in my home in Northern Italy.
I’m also the co-founder of a top-selling system, Flip Free Profits, that teaches both Realtors and investors how to properly work and profit from short sales. And, I speak at events across the nation and guest on radio shows to talk about REI. Plus, I’ve created an elite real estate education company for mentoring investors nationwide.
So, people might look at all that and call me a success, but I’m constantly checking and re-checking to make sure my passion is still alive.
And this funeral inspired me to start asking myself hard questions again...
