MailerLite has a forever-free plan where you can access its features for free, except one – the ability to switch off the small MailterLite advertisement in outgoing emails. But that’s really not a big deal, especially when you have a small-scale business.

emailThe forever-free plan only includes 1,000 free subscribers. So if you have or exceed more than a 1,000 subscribers, you can easily upgrade to one of their paid plans. Many real estate investors can still make a pile of money with only 1,000 email subscribers.

As for the paid plans, pricing is one of MailerLite’s biggest advantages. It’s relatively cheap compared to other email marketing platforms in the market. The price of the subscription service depends on the number of subscribers. It ranges from $10 to $35 per month.

Let’s touch on the look and navigation…

Its clean and minimalist interface is evident in MailerLite’s dashboard menu. For some people, its simplicity makes the presentation seem a little bit dull – but when you take everything into consideration, the design will make sense…

The basics are all found on one page – the past campaign overviews and other important stats – no need to navigate through different webpages. The option to create a campaign report is also found on this page. In creating a campaign, all you have to do is click the Create Campaign button in the top right corner and choose the type of campaign you want.

Now to the editor…

After you type in your information, editing comes in. You have the option to start from scratch or make use of MailerLite’s modern-looking templates that are available at your disposal. As you preview them, you get a quick overview of the features available.

Editing your email is fairly straightforward. You’ll be able to see the Blocks (where you can edit the text, title, put images, signature and more) and the Design (font style, font size, titles, and the like) right beside the email you made.

And, you can switch the view between mobile and desktop.

Once you’re happy with the results, you can save and hit send. (Unfortunately, there are no spam or design tests available.)

Yet Another Highlight: Webforms

MailerLite also provides the availability of webpages…

sendThe option to have a landing page and pop-up forms is a huge plus! And these are available for subscribers who are on a free plan.

Creating a landing page and/or a squeeze page on MailerLite is very similar to creating a newsletter – same interface and the same process. This says a lot about the overall user experience.

The only difference is that the landing page gives you additional editing options, such as Testimonials, Timer and Video. After, you get to choose your SEO settings and your domain.

Editing a pop-up is simpler and is also equipped with a familiar style. After, you choose a behavior setting determining how the pop-up behaves on your page.

We’re Sold

By far, MailerLite is one of the easiest email marketing tools on the market. Their interface is consistently designed throughout the whole experience. Extra features are also added, like the team management and Google analytics integration with MailerLite.

MailerLite is pretty generous with their forever-free plan compared to other email platforms, so we can’t really complain about it.

But, with MailerLite’s low prices comes a couple of minor disadvantages... most users tend to complain that it lacks advanced reporting, spam and design testing, and advanced list segmentation.

Overall, MailterLite is a very good deal for something that you get for free. If you have a small real estate business with less than 1,000 subscribers, this may be the program for you.

Optimize emails for mobile devices. More and more people are reading emails on their phones. So, make sure your emails and landing pages function perfectly on mobile devices.

Be focused. Nobody likes an email that’s all over the place. You wouldn’t want your audience to be confused. So, your email should be catchy, yet direct and to the point. Don’t include unnecessary text.

Create a headline that captures the audience’s attention. With the number of emails your target market receives each day, your email’s headline should scream, ‘Open Me! PAY ATTENTION TO ME.’
