Hey, I just got back from the Bahamas. I was there with a Mastermind group of high-level real estate investors and entrepreneurs.
As I’m sure you can imagine…
It. Was. Powerful.
The guy who runs it has a $25 million dollar biz. My biggest takeaway was a simple but profound question he shared. And I just can’t get it out of my head.
Before I tell you what it is, think about this:
American philosopher and psychologist William James said, “Belief creates actual fact.”
Ask yourself, “Does your belief about what’s possible for you… affect your success?”
What if you were able to destroy your self-limiting beliefs once and for all… so you can finally realize your true potential?
Well, that’s exactly what the simple but profound questions shared at a Mastermind like this can do for you.
Are you ready for it?
Come closer…
Here it is: Why not me?
I’m sure you’ve set a goal, and then heard that annoying voice in your head say, “You can’t do that.”
Why can’t you?
I’m here to tell you that YOU CAN!
Spanking your inner demons
You need to understant that this inner voice that pops it's head up and starts making you doubt yourself at you at times like this...it's your own self-destructive, self-limiting beliefs sticking their middle finger up at you.
The fact is, there have been countless people who have come before you who have been at a far greater disadvantage than you're facing right now… but have achieved the pinnacle of success even still.
Therefore, you can too.
-
It doesn’t matter what your current financial situation is…
-
or your credit situation…
-
or what terribly difficult circumstances your were born into…
-
or who “did you wrong”…
-
or what color you are…
-
or how old you are…
-
or [insert the excuse you've been telling yourself here].
Hear me now:
Why can’t you close your first (or next) deal before the end of the year?
You can.
Why can’t you finally see the success you want and deserve in your real estate biz?
You can.
What can’t you get $10 million dollars in private money to fund your deals?
You can.
Why can’t you follow your dreams and live the life you’ve always imagined?
You can.
Look, I’m not sure what’s going on in your life right now… but however good or bad you perceive it to be… it can get better. It will get better.
… especially when you learn lessons from your mistakes, when you surround yourself with the right people, when you work your *ss off, when you don’t take “no” for an answer, and when you stop complaining and blaming other people for any lack of success in your biz or life…
...AND when you get up every time you get knocked down NO MATTER WHAT.
That’s when you’ll finally see the success you desire.
Write this on a piece of paper and hang it on your wall…
"WHY NOT ME?"
Your time has come. You can do… and be… and have… whatever you want in life.
Is it going to take hard work?
Yes.
Is it going to take persistence?
You bet.
Are you going to hit the inevitable obstacle?
You better believe it.
And you’re going to make 1 of 2 choices…
You’re either going to…
A) Quit
--OR--
B) Get up every time you get knocked down until you get what you want
Choose B.
Choose “b”… and there will be a rainbow at the end of your story.
You’re going to look back on your life 10 years from now and see yourself giving advice to someone who has dreams of a better life… and you’ll say to them…
“IT CAN HAPPEN FOR YOU… because it happened for me.” :-)
-
Understand - When your inner demons start whispering at you, “You can’t do that.” or anything of the kind, recognize what's really going on. Call it for what it is, and immediately rebutt with "Why Not Me?!?"
-
Focus - Write "WHY NOT ME?" on a piece of paper and hang it someplace obvoius, where you can read it to yourself every day, multiple times a day.
-
Become - the person who always learns lessons from your mistakes, surround yourself with the right people, work your *ss off, don’t take “no” for an answer, and stop complaining and blaming other people for any lack of success in your business or life.
-
Never Quit - When you get knocked down, always choose option B: Keep getting back up, until you finally get what you're after.
Patrick Riddle
has been investing in real estate ever since he got the bug in college at Clemson University and - to his parents dismay - dropped out of college to dive full-time into real estate at the age of 22 with a couple friends/partners from school.
The first few deals were rough for them, mainly using their own cash, credit, and hard money loans. But, soon he found out that was a rough and unsustainable way to build a real estate business.
After "on the job" learning through the school of hard knocks at first, he found the key that helped their company get deals done more quickly, with higher profit, less risk, without having to go to banks or use their own cash.
Fast forward to today, their company has closed over 130 real estate transactions and has put over $6 million in private money into their own transactions.
