Hey Moguls, Cory Boatright here…
I once knew this guy who was nothing more than a juvenile delinquent. He never finished high school, he was borderline suicidal and he was one more bad decision away from prison.
But this kid - as lost as he was - made a million bucks at the age of 25... legally! He became a well-traveled young man who even beat cancer, and somehow, he came out on the other side with more passion, perspective and integrity than he - or anyone who knew him - thought possible.
Well, friends, that guy was - or should I say - is me: Cory.
Yep, I’ve been blessed to become an accomplished national speaker, real estate trainer and coach, professional writer, radio host, private consultant, business owner, musician (I know, right!?) and full-time investor.
But before success came heartache and failure… and believe me when I say I can tell you exactly what rock bottom looks like. It’s not pretty.
I know what it feels like to live in a world where nothing makes sense, where everything around you fails, where the demons of the past haunt you and hold you back. I know what it's like to guess my way through life without a father to guide me, encourage me, and kick my butt into shape (figuratively, of course) when needed.
But by overcoming those obstacles, including the lack of parental guidance and a nurturing hand, I became a stronger and smarter man and I’m proud to say a successful professional.
Hey Now, You’re an All-star!
My story (hopefully) resonates with just about anyone. But if you’re a business owner struggling to make it, I beg you to realize one thing.
Are you ready for this? You might want to sit down.
YOU matter!
Here’s the thing – before you can convince anyone else that you and what you do actually matters, you have to believe it! Know that what you do does make a difference and that you do have influence. You’re in this business called real estate investing to be successful and to be financially “free.” I get it. We all get it...
But you’re also in this business to help people. You’re in the business to provide solutions for buyers and sellers who need someone to reduce or even eliminate their property stress. So remember that. Knowing that you matter is not only essential to your emotional well-being, but it’s vital for ultimate business success.
Your Actions Make the Difference
Truth: Actions speak louder than words.
Cliché as it may be, the saying rings true. Remember this... there is no better day than today to take action, to inspire change, to make a difference. You don’t have to wait to succeed. You just have to know that you matter.
So tell yourself that every day! Look in the mirror and say it loud and proud. You matter! What you do today counts big time tomorrow. Do what you do, do it well, and know all the while that you CAN make a difference.
You can – and will – succeed.

Cory Boatright
has started, run, or been directly involved with almost forty different companies since his early twenties. Many of them required good selling skills. That wasn’t a challenge for Cory. He has sold everything from Ginsu knives on eBay and Kirby vacuum cleaners door-to-door all the way to $50,000 high-end electronics online. Out of the forty-something companies, only two of them ever proved to be worthwhile endeavors. The other thirty-eight he decided to call “business therapy”. Interestingly enough, both of the successful companies harnessed the power of the Internet to make their profits. After bringing in almost 4 million dollars in sales from the first company, Cory sold it and directed his passion to the world of real estate investing. Now he runs Shortsaleology.com and has both successful students and certified Shortsaleology trainers that teach every type of real estate investing known to man-kind. Cory has an incredible team that helps people achieve all their dreams and his own. Cory considers the greatest lesson he's learned in life is "Remember... be a servant".
