Hey Moguls, Shaun McCloskey here…
If you want to begin to live your vision faster (like right now) – try asking yourself a different question. Rather than using words like “someday” or asking questions like: “Why does this always happen to me?” Try asking something new and you’ll get a new outcome.
It's Personal
Here are a few examples of questions you can ask to help you get a little closer to your personal vision:
-
What’s 1 thing I can do today/this week to begin to live my vision now?
-
How can I show my spouse/partner/kids that I love them rather than just assuming they already know? How could I really show them this week?
-
What am I passionate about; what do I care about; and how can I spend time on these things this week?
Just Business
Here are a few examples of questions you can ask to bring you closer to your business vision and make more money in the process:
-
What’s 1 thing I could do in my business this week that will help me not only make money, but also fulfill a purpose bigger than myself?
-
What would I have to believe differently about my business to get me from where I am to where I want to be?
-
How can I make money with my business ideas without me having to be the one doing all the work?
-
How is my business going to run if I go on vacation for a month? What would I have to put in place to make sure I could go on vacation and come back to a business that’s more profitable than when I left?
-
What do other people need that I’m excellent at providing for them? How can I fill this need for people so well that they are happy to pay for me to fulfill this need?
-
How can I play around bigger people? Obviously, if I want to grow, I need to be around people who are better/further along in business than I am… how can I find people like this?
-
If I were to take all of my business ideas and prioritize them in writing, which ideas would float to the top of the list as having the highest profit potential while also coinciding with my personal vision? How can I eliminate everything else except for the top one or two ideas?
In case you didn’t pick up on it, that last question was hinting that you should put all of your business ideas in writing, then prioritize them in order of which ones have the biggest potential, excite you the most and also coincide with your personal vision. This 1 thing will help you big time if you’ll actually do it. Most people won’t, which is why they feel stressed, overworked and are making minimal progress on too many things at a time.
If you start to ask questions like those above on a daily basis, you’ll begin to get a little closer to your vision each and every day. And remember, your vision is not about one day showing up saying “I have arrived!” Instead, it’s about making constant progress to an ever-changing, living, breathing vision for your life.
