Hi, guys. It’s me again -- Sean Terry. Previously, we talked about how I went from Soloprenuer to Entrepreneur, but now I want to take a step back and tell you how to get yourself motivated.
What is your big, fat, burning WHY?
And when I say this I mean…
What is your WHY that motivates you to make it happen at all costs?
When we become that full-time entrepreneur, we're going to need to push ourselves to go out and make it happen. That desire, that burning flame inside you, that has to increase.
If you haven’t defined that WHY, you’re going to fail.
The Power of Rags to Riches
Believe me, I know because I grew up in a family in Vermont where our family phrase was, "We can't afford that." My dad made no more than $40,000 a year as a police officer in a town called Essex.
We grew up in a small little house. It's funny… I went back this past summer for my 25th high school reunion and drove by my house that I haven't seen in roughly 25 years, and I was like "Oh my gosh. I grew up there?"
I mean, it looks like a shanty. It's unbelievable. I'm like, "I can't believe I grew up in this house." That was the nice house that we moved in from the nasty house! I was brought home into a trailer at first.
Currently, I run 6 investment businesses across the country. I have a cumulative transaction value of approximately $120,000,000 (not bragging, just sayin’). I now spend most of my time training and mentoring other investors.
I tell the rest of my story in this video, including:
-
Specifically how defining your own big, fat, burning WHY can be rocket fuel for your business and your life
-
Living at 80% verses living at 110%. Are you living at your full percent?
-
The power of rags before riches and using your rags to get riches
-
That pivotal moment when you've had enough -- something must, absolutely, positively change
-
No more making excuses - find the will to go that extra mile
-
Intent, focus and drive. If you want it, take it. A tenacious, persistent "I'm gonna make it happen" attitude
Now, hold on to your hats and press play for the rest of my story…
