How about this insane fact…one of the biggest banks in the US spends $44 million a month just to maintain those vacant foreclosures. I bet we just blew your mind!

Dwan knows REI, period. She and her husband, Bill, have closed more than 2000 deals running their own powerhouse company. They’ve also written two best-sellers and are featured regularly in two REI magazines - RealtyTrac and Realty411.
Dwan has shared the stage with Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki, and has appeared on several TV programs including MSNBC and Fox & Friends.
So it’s obvious she knows her stuff, and sure, she’s tried other marketing strategies like using Facebook, but she went back to this one tactic that she tells about – an oldie but a goodie.

Dwan Bent-Twyford
started as a broke, single mom with no formal education, no job skills, divorced and recently fired from Dennys...she was at a major crossroad in her life.
She dove into real estate naively thinking rehabbing and decorating were the same thing. As she began rehabbing flipping foreclosures she realized some of the properties had no equity, so she started calling banks to see if they would take less than what was owed on some of them. To her surprise the banks said yes.
Realizing she had uncovered an industry yet to be built, she quickly trademarked the term Short Sales®, wrote the very FIRST training program on short sales (way back in the early 90s) for real estate investors, and helped found this money-making segment of the real estate investing industry.
