5 Things That Murder Your Success

frustrationHave you ever wondered why success seems to come so easy to others, whereas for you…

I’ll be honest: I’ve been there, too, and I’ve have had some of the same frustrated thoughts – even a few bitter ones:

  • “If my parents threw everything I needed in my lap, I’d be successful too…”
  • “That guy isn’t the sharpest tool in the toolbox, so how did he get to where he is, while I’m just stuck here?”
  • “If I had his connections, I would be set, too…”
  • “That guy isn’t educated like I am… He must have gotten really lucky…”
  • “What am I doing wrong?! Do I suck and I just don’t know it?”

I don’t have all the answers, but I do know this:

You may be murdering your success and not even realize it.

How do I know?

Because I myself was doing just this, and then I changed my mindset and my work ethic.

Let me tell you, this is when my life changed. Now I am fulfilling my dream and working with some of the nation’s most successful investors.

robbinsNow I realize that successful people do have something in common.  Maybe Tony Robins says it best:

“In essence, if we want to direct our lives, we must take control of our consistent actions. It's not what we do once in a while that shapes our lives, but what we do consistently.”  ~ Tony Robbins

“A real decision is measured by the fact that you've taken a new action. If there's no action, you haven't truly decided.”  ~ Tony Robbins

So, are you ready to figure-out whether you are murdering your own success?  Are you ready to take action?  If so, watch the following video.

Do It To It! Immediate Action Steps

Indentify – Identify what is murdering your success and holding you back.

Make a Plan for Correction – Make a corrective action plan to keep you from murdering your success and stick to it.

Focus – Pick a niche and focus only on this specific area. Stick to it.

Prioritize Mastery – Become a master in your chosen niche.  It is better to be “one inch wide and one mile deep” than to be “one mile wide and one inch deep”.

Repeat – Once you become a master in one niche, rinse and repeat.
