Appoint & Fix – Scheduling Appointments Made Easy

  • Sending out and replying to emails
  • Meetings – motivated sellers, buyers, title agents, renters, realtors, contractors
  • Making phone calls
  • Negotiations
  • Driving, driving, driving
  • Direct mail campaigns
  • Writing blog posts
  • Or whatever ‘work’ you have to do

Scheduling appointments with potential prospects is one of the most important things you can do. Whether it’s sellers, buyers, investors or renters, this is where the money is.

In real estate, the more appointments you make, the more money you make.

But in the midst of all the technological advancements, you’d be surprised how many professionals still use pen and paper to jot down and keep track of appointments. Many investors and prospects miss appointments just because they weren’t able to remember them.

Fast and Simple Appointment Scheduling

Appointfix is an app that enables businesses to schedule appointments seamlessly while on the phone with clients. They claim to reduce no-shows by almost 50% because the app sends out automated text message reminders. Not just to you, but also to the person you are meeting. Appointfix is a smart appointment book that’s literally right at your fingertips.

Most appointment booking apps are designed to be used on computers. However, Appointfix created the app to be used specifically on smartphones. Or tablets.

The app’s most useful feature would be its Call Screen integration. While talking to a prospect on the phone, you can swipe on the Appointfix icon and you’ll be able to see your available time.

Appointfix automatically saves client information while you’re on the call. All you have to do is to pick a time, choose a service, and then you’re booked. The app will then be the one to send text reminders to the clients. You can determine when the reminders are sent out.

There are other useful features Appointfix has up its sleeve, such as:

  • Calendar Integration. The app syncs with Google Calendar and Apple Calendar. You can add an appointment through Google or Apple calendars and it will show in the Appointfix calendar – and vice versa. You will still have to set up the automatic text feature.
  • Calendar View. A calendar view similar to your phone’s calendar will pop up when you open the app. By default, the Appointfix’s calendar shows a ‘week’ view but you can switch it up to a ‘month’ view or even a ‘next 3 days’ view. If you don’t want to be overwhelmed by all the work you have to do, I recommend using the ‘next 3 days’.
  • Search Feature. Appointfix lets you easily search a contact and view their details and appointment history. You can edit an existing appointment simply by tapping on it. This helps prevent confusion between one appointment and another.
  • Text Message Reminders. Another really useful feature is the text message reminders. Once you have an appointment booked, the app automatically sets a text message unless you manually disable it in the settings. The messages are usually sent between an hour or a day before the appointment. You can also have Appontfix send two messages if you want to.  You can also set up texts a week or two in advance.
  • Fast Appointments. Appointfix lets you easily create, view, and edit appointment anytime, anywhere. The Appointfix icon on top of each phone call lets you answer the call (which sets it on speakerphone), and then add an appointment for that contact. You don’t have to manually save their contact information or jot down the time and date of the appointment on a piece of paper.

If you have a larger business, you can choose one of their paid plans.

One nice feature of their Ultimate plan is that they use their texting service instead of yours. In the lower plans, the texts may not go out because you don’t have good reception. You can also use the Ultimate plan on an unlimited number of devices. If you have bird dogs, employees, property managers or other partners, they can set up appointments and reminders as well.

Send out reminders to remind prospects of appointments. You and your clients have a lot on their plate.

Schedule time for yourself. Don’t feel guilty about blocking time on your calendar to exercise, to go on a trip, or even going out to eat.

Create an admin day. Dedicated an hour or more each week for admin day. This is the day when you can set any personal appointments, review recent client files, catch up on pending business proposals and emails, and more. Setting in on the last workday of the week means you can start the following week fresh.
